1. Who we are
Mama Ghar Entertainment (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us at info@mamagharentertainment.com for anything privacy-related.
2. What we collect
- Waiting list & bookings: name, email, phone/WhatsApp, ticket quantity and tier, notes you add.
- Contact form: name, email, phone, your message.
- Newsletter: email address (and name if given).
- Automatic: a short-lived, anonymous visit record (page viewed, no cookies, IP addresses are hashed never stored) used only to show our team how many people are on the site.
3. Why we use it (lawful basis)
- Your consent — the tick box on each form — to manage your waiting-list place, booking or enquiry and to contact you about it.
- Contract — to issue and honour your tickets.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure (spam and rate-limit logs) and understanding demand.
- Marketing — event news only where you opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and bookings/waiting-list emails are service messages about your request.
4. How long we keep it
We keep waiting-list and booking records until the event has finished plus 12 months for customer queries, then delete or anonymise them. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Security logs are kept for a maximum of 12 months.
5. Who sees it
Only our team and the processors that run this site for us (web hosting, email delivery, payment provider for paid tickets). We never sell your data and never share it for third-party marketing.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time (withdrawing consent does not affect anything already done with it). Email info@mamagharentertainment.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Cookies
This site uses only strictly-necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps forms and admin login working, and a preference cookie if you dismiss a banner. No advertising or tracking cookies.
